U.S. (Airborne) & British Used Cargo Two Part Parachute Pack - Unused Condition

U.S. Airborne Parachute pack intended to fit on U.S. drop containers such as the A4.& A5 dropcontainers used on the D-Day landing and Operation Market-Garden These dropping parachutes were also used on the British Airborne wicker panniers. There are many pictures known from the battle of Arnhem were container parachutes with the thick U.S. parachute lines are visible on the dropped wicker panniers. This pack compromises a top and bottom part. Fitted with original lines and hook to attach to the frame of the cannister. Both parts are clearly dated i.e. 1942 and January 1943. The bottom part is makers marked Fibrous Glass Ins Co. Inc. The top part Atlantic Parachute Corporation. the canopy is missing. Increasingly hard to find Hard to be upgraded.
