British Royal Air Force Service Dress in overall nice used condition, complete with trousers and side cap.
The service dress compromises a taylor made i.e. private purchase example. Fitted with a label makers marked Gieves Ltd and named to a C.D.P. Franklin. The jacket is badged with all original buttons bearing the Kings Crown. Mounted with original Royal Air Force Wing and medal Ribbons for the both the British Empire Medal (Awarded for Meritorious service) and Distinguished Flying Medal (Awarded for Exceptional valour, courage or devotion to duty whilst flying in active operations against the enemy). The trousers are also taylored and belong to the tunic. Without a visible size I would estimate a waist 32 (110cm in lenght and approx 45cm waist).The tunic measures approx 75cm in leght and 45cm breast. The uniform set is complemented with the original side cap. In equal nice used condition and with R.A.F. wing and Kings Crown. A very nice and complete and nice used British Royal Air Force Service Dress with a fantastic patina.
