An extremely rare piece of British Airborne equipment. Executed in khaki shade canvas and fitted with webbing straps. This canvas valise was intended to be strapped on the frame of the BSA (Birmingham Small Arms) Folding Bicycle. Intended to carry miscellaneous kinds of equipment. British No4 MkI cruciform bayonet for the Lee Endfield rifle. The MK1 bayonet was produced by Singer Manufacturing from Glasgow, with only 75.000 produced untill early 1942.
