U.S. 1st Model M3 Trench Knife and M8 Scabbard Makers Marked CAMILLUS - Nice Used Condition

Increasingly hard to find these days, this "CAMILLUS" makers marked U.S. M3 Trench Knife. The knife compromises the first model; makers marked and dated on the blade. In mimimally used condition, near to mint. Clearly marked M3 and CAMILLUS on the blade, as well as dated 1943. Marked with Ordnance bomb on the pommel. The M8 scabbard clearly makers marked B.M. Co.
These type of knifes were widely used in the ETO and during operations such as D-Day and Normandy in 1944. A nice used M3 knife hard to upgrade.
