A nice i.e. minimal used example of a case CS156 i.e. carrying case for the BC611-C Handie Talkie. Favoured by U.S. Airborne troops and widely used througout the war during for example D-Day and Operation Market Garden. This is a very nice pair of M1943 Buckle Boots intended for female forces such as the WAC i.e.The Women's Army Corps . They are identical to the regular M1943 Buckle Boots yet somehwat more narrow to fit the femine foot.

The map is 1944 dated and would have been issued to troops disembaring for the European Theatre of Operations. The map compromises a fold-out, multi-color printed map with a brown stiff paper cover.
