British (Airborne) MKII Bren Gun 1943 Makers Marked Inglis - EU Deco
One of the iconic weaponary of British forces; the Bren Gun. This particular example compromises the MKII a somewhat simplified version compared to the MKI in order to speed up manufacture.
MkII Bren guns were made by John Inglis & Co in Canada, and in the UK by the Monotype Group - a confederation of companies making parts which were assembled by the Monotype Corporation in Surrey. This particular example is clearly makers marked Inglis and 1943 dated.
