WH (Luftwaffe) M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M40). Applied with a highly attractive Luftwaffe Eagle and externally black overpaint. This was a common practice for Flak Troops.
The helmet is makers marked 'ET64' marked shell; Eisenhüttenwerke, Thale size 64. And marked with the production steel/sheet number 1183.
The original liner is in equal nice used condition as the shell with some clear trace of wear. The original chinstrap is present yet damaged.
