Increasingly hard to find, this 1942 pattern surgical haversack. Designed specificly for Airborne troops. These haversacks would have been carrierd by surgeons and would contain items such as bandages, tourniquet, gauze and wool. Clearly marked with the Broad Arrow and 1944 dated. In unissued condition, this British (Airborne) Brown Leather Sten Gun Valise. Used for holding the Sten Gun whilst descending from the aircraft.
