rare and hard to find this original Sten Gun Blanking Plate.canvas frog dated 1945 The Sten Gun Blanking plate is used when the sten gun stock has been removed, typically on the MK V by Paratroopers, in order to reduce the size of the gun. The blanking plate stops the spring and bolt from flying out the rear.
When not in use its carried in a special pouch on the Airborne bayonet frog.
