Rare U.S. (Airborne) OD Canvas Medical Pack On Original Packboards - Mint Condition

A rare example of an U.S. OD Canvas Medical Pack. The packs are could be used as a substitute for the Medical Chests at forward Aid Stations. Two of such Packs, weighing about 40 pounds each, would favorably a Medical Chest.
In order to be carried whilst in combat these packs had been designed to fit on the packboard. This back comes on a original 1944 plywood packboard. The backboard is fitted with metal load adjuster and comic style instruction sheet. A very unique find as a set. These packs are known to have been carried during both D-Day and Market Garden in 1944. Cannot be upgraded!
