U.S. First Model M3 Trench Knife With M6 Leather Scabbard. The knife is clearly makers marked "H Boker & Co" who produced these knives between March 1943 and August 1944. And one of the lesser encountered makers. Clearly marked on the blade U.S. M3 H. Boker & Co. USA.
The M6 leather scabbard is clearly 1943 dated and makers marked Moore Co. Also a less encountered maker. The scabbard is named on the rear "J. Sleder" and has been identified as Joseph A. Sleder from Kings New York. Born 1919 and served as National Guard. A stunning nice used M
