Rare example of an original mounted 1st British Airborne Battle Dress. The battle dress blouse is in nice yet clear used condition with a great patina. Compromising an Australian made example. Original mounted with printed Parachute Regiment shoulder titles and Pegasus, Parachute qualification wing and sergeant stripes. The blouse has no visible size, yet I estimate a size 5 a textbook size for combat worn battle dress jackets. In the liner an army number is present that would require research. This could typically be a Battle Dress worn by a member of the 1st Airborne Division who was at Arnhem judging the medal ribbons of an Africa Star and France & Germany Star .
