British (Airborne) Paratrooper Helmet Shell (model 1943) Compromising the helmet shell only. helmet is the so-called Helmet Steel Airborne Troops (HSAT) which was also executed with leather chinstraps. The shell is an original example made by BMB(Briggs Motor Bodies). that could easily be used as an display or for restuaration purposes. The shell has still its orginal paint, An iconic piece of British Airborne headgear used during Normandy and the Battle of Arnhem.
