1st Pattern British (Airborne) BSA Folding Bicycle. The first pattern folding bicycle was manufactured in 1942, and of this model only 1000 examples were produced. The double tube became the weakness of the bicycle and in the 2nd pattern replaced with a single tube. In comparison, of the 2nd pattern 70.000 examples were produced. This particular example is in overall nice used condition with important features being present such the original early BSA saddle,(with has the brass BSA plate on the back) handgrips and war grade tyres.Fyrestone and Dunlop The bicycle retains its original paint.a few parts have been repainted This is a truly rare piece of British Airborne equipment hard to find these days.
