British (Airborne) Type F Drop Container - Nice Used Condition
A rare example of a British (Airborne) Type F drop container. This rectangular container was designed to carry several different wireless/telegraphy sets, specifically the No. 11, 19, 21 or 22 sets. Used to drop radio equipment to ground troops and behind enemy lines. Used to supply Airborne troops during for instance the Battle of Arnhem in 1944. The container is in excellent condition, repainted . These type of containers have always been hard to find, and this particular example is excellent condition and cannot be upgraded.
