British (Airborne) Paratrooper Helmet Shell With Fibre Rim. (model 1942) Compromising the helmet shell only. The fibre rim helmet is the so-called Helmet Steel Airborne Troops (HSAT) which was also executed with leather chinstraps. The shell is an original example made by BMB(Briggs Motor Bodies). that could easily be used as an display or for restuaration purposes. The shell is overpaint, however still retains its original paint in the interior. An iconic piece of British Airborne headgear used during Normandy and the Battle of Arnhem.
