British (Airborne) Everest Carrier 1945 - Nice Used Condition

British (Airborne) Everest Carrier. Intended as a load carrier and issued to Airborne troops.
They are often associated with the Airborne BSA folding bicycle and are often seen in pictures and footage from the period fitted to the front including Normandy and the Battle of Arnhem. Executed in a black metal frame, canvas base and leather straps. All in nice used condition and present. The carrier is War Department marked and 1945 dated on the side of the metal frame. An overall nice used British (Airborne) Everest Carrier increasingly hard to find these days.
