U.S. M1 Helmet Fitted With Westinghouse Rayon Liner - Nice Used Condition
U.S. M1 combat helmet, mounted with original netting. Compromising a so-called fixed bale and front seam example. Mounted with original webbing chinstraps.
The helmet is fitted with a Westinghouse liner with so-called Rayon Suspension. The Rayon Suspension was fitted on the first helmets from late 1941 untill mid-fall 1942 when the cotton suspension was introduced. A verry nice early war example of a Westinghouse liner. A highly attractive M1 combat helmet and liner in nice used condition.
