U.S. M1941 Field Jacket Mounted To 8th Armored Staff Sergeant - Near Mint Condition
U.S. M1941 Field Jacket in stunning, light used and imo near mint condition. Compromising a size 36R and fitted with a full working "Talon" zip.
The jacket shows very minimal wear and sleet. The jacket is original mounted to a Staff Sergeant and mounted with 8th Armored Division formation patch. The 8th Armored Division landed in France in January 1945 and continued to the Battle of the Bulge on to the Netherlands (Simpelveld) and on to Germany. Were The 8th liberated Halberstadt-Zwieberge, a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp in April 1945.
