U.S. M3 Lightweight Gas Mask and M6 Carrier - Unissued Condition

U.S. M3 Lightweight Gas Mask and cannister. Executed in black rubber indicating a late 1943/ early 1944 production. What appears in unissued condition, with mainly trace of age. Clearly marked U.S. on the rubber, and dated 1944. With the gas mask comes an early model M6 carrier, executed in OD shade No.5 canvas and fitted with original carrier strap. Both gasmask and carrier show wear and age and are in nice used condition. These Lighweight gasmask and bags were used by the 82nd Airborne division during Operation Market-Garden in September 1944 and beyond.
