U.S. M1 Helmet Fitted With Hawley Liner - Nice Used Condition
A so-called "Hawley" liner. This type of liners were produced by the Hawley Products Company and compromise the the first contract in 1941. The first contract was for 950.000 liners only. This example is fitted with the rayon suspension. The liner shows only little wear and therefore imo in near mint condition. Increasingly hard to find Hawley liners with this type of suspension. The liner is fitted with original leather chinstrap. Fitted in a M1 frontseam and fixed bale helmet. Would be hard to upgrade!
