British Royal Air Force Irvin Flying Jacket - Nice Used Condition

Introduced in the 1930s under the official designation “Jacket, Flying, Thermally Insulated,” These jacekts became iconic and known as Irvin Jackets.
Executed in brown leather and sheepskin lining. The leather has some repairs however is in very smooth and excellent condition retaining a great patina!
The jacket is fitted with original label and marked a size 4 (waist 32-34, height 5.8-5.9, breast 36-38). The label is marked with a Broad Arrow. The full lenght zip in working order and makers marked "Lightning", the smaller zippers on the arm are also in working order and compromise Air Ministry marked examples, marked with Kings Crown. The original leather waistband is also still present with the jacket. A highly attractive and wearable British Royal Air Force Irvin Flying Jacket.
