U.S. M1942 Enamel Canteen And Cover. The enamel canteen fitted with plastic cap was only produced in 1942. Clearly dated 1942 and makers marked REP. With original 1942 dated cup, makers marked Foley MFG co. Both canteen and cup are fitted in a nice used canvas carrier, equally 1942 and makers marked Foley MFG co. The bottom of the carrier case is marked with a soldiers surname "Hollowell". Very hard to find a M1942 enamel canteen with allk 1942 dated cup and carrier case, therefore cannot be upgraded!
