British East Lancashire Regiment Captain Mounted Battledress - Nice Used Condition

British 1940 Pattern Battle Dress. Original mounted to a Captain in the East Lancashire Regiment.
Mounted with printed East Lancashire Shoulder titles, three embroided Pips and lanyards. The blouse compromising a size 10 and is 1945 dated. Makers marked Boothman Ltd. And War Department acceptance stamp with lettercode "Z" indicating 1945 being also the year of issue. The East Lancashire Regiment saw extensive service througout the war. With for instance the 5th Battalion part-taking in the D-Day landings (in the area of Galmanche near Epron during Operation Charnwood).
