Different to the general shell dressing bags the British 1937 Pattern Surgical Haversack additional dividers inside and the sling is attached to the sides of the bag. Intended to hold medical equipment in the field by surgeons and medical NCOs. In what appears unissued condition. Clearly makers marked B. Ltd. dated 1943 and marked with the Broad Arrow. Increasingly hard to find and hard to upgrade.
