British (Airborne) 2 1/2 x 50 compact Galilean binoculars in original leather carrying case. The bincolars are in nice used condition. Clearly marked S.E./338 stores reference number/code for airborne issue along with a small broad arrow mark.
The binoculars come in their original leather carrying case fitted with original leather carrying strap. The case is clearly makers marked.
There is a famous picture of Boy Browning wearing these binoculars whilst talking to commander Gavin (82nd Airborne) near Overasselt during Operation Market Garden in 1944. A nice used pair off British (Airborne) Field Binoculars.
