Embroided Pair Off (Airborne) Border Regiment Shoulder Titles (Post War )- Nice Used Condition

A full matching pair of embroided Border Regiment Shoulder Titles. The titles are in nice used i.e. uniform removed condition. The The 1st Battalion, Border Regiment formed part of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) in Europe from 1939 to 1940 and saw active service attached to the 1st Airborne Division during the Battle of Arnhem in 1944. But also in North Africa and Sicily in 1943.
These shoulder titles examples are the post war (teritorial army) examples. This type of shoulder title was introduced to the 1st Battalion in 1942 whilst the other Border battalions used the printed red and white shoulder titles.
