U.S. M1 combat helmet. A so-called swivel bale and front seam helmet. The helmet has been period applied with two vertical stripes for a non commisioned officer i.e. a Sergeant. typical done by the France forces during WW2 The helmet shows a great patina and is fitted with original canvas chinstraps.
