WH (Luftwaffe) Single Decal M40 Combat Helmet - Nice Used Condition

Stunning Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M40). The helmet is in overall nice used condition retains most of its original paint and an excellent and very clear single decal. The liner is complete with original drawstring and measures a size 58. The shell is marked with maker and size 'Q66'. 'Q' is indicating production by the 'F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.' in Esslingen. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped lot-number '11403'. Adding to the interest of this helmet is that the liner has been marked with "Luxembourg Dec/1944". Likely to have been a so-called U.S. veteran bring back from the Luxemburg i.e. Battle of the Bulge battlefield. Hard to upgrade!
