British (Airborne) Beaded and Ribbed Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife - Nice Used Condition

On of the most iconic fighting knifes of the British army, the Fairbairn Sykes.
The Fairbairn Sykes fighting knife is a double-edged fighting knife resembling a dagger or poignard with a foil grip. It was developed by William Ewart Fairbairn and Eric Anthony Sykes. This particular knife compromises a so-called Ribbed and Beaded example. The ribbed and beaded commando knife was commercial variant produced for private purchase. Although these knives were private purchase they were also marked with the Broad Arrow. Underneath the Broad Arrow is a number two mold marking. In nice used condition fitted in a nice used brown leather scabbard. Highly attractive and with a great patina.
