British (Airborne) Early 3rd Model Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife - Nice Used Condition
A nice used example of a Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife. This Fairbairn Sykes compromises the so-called third model, easily recognized by its ringed alloy grip.This particular example compromises an early production. Marked with mould numer 2 and B2 mark on the cross guard (same as the 2nd model). And fitted in an early model leather scabbard. The Fairbairn Sykes fighting knife is a double-edged fighting knife resembling a dagger or poignard with a foil grip. It was developed by William Ewart Fairbairn and Eric Anthony Sykes. This fighting knife was adopted by British Airborne and Commando troops alike. The knife and leather scabbard are both in clear used condition and priced accordingly.
