U.S. (Airborne) M1943 Reinforced Jump Trousers 1945 - Mint Condition
U.S. (Airborne) M1943 Reinforced Jump in unissued and stone mint condition. Paratroopers generally modified the M1943 trousers with cargo pockets. For instance the 82nd, 101st Airborne and 17th Airborne Divisions were known to make reinforcements onto the trousers and first used these during Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge. These alterations would have been done by riggers in the U.K. whilst stationed there. This particular pair of trousers compromises unissued and 1945 dated pair of M1943 trousers. Sized 30x32 and makers marked H.Lang Company with purchase number 15866. Original applied with reinforced cargo pockets. Executed in thick OD shade canvas. These would have been likely factory applied in the U.S.A.
