British (Airborne) MK 2 Paratrooper Helmet 1943 - Nice Used Condition

British (Airborne) MK2 Paratrooper Helmet or also refered to as Helmet Steel Airborne Troop MK1.
The MK1 Airborne helmet was commisioned in October 1942 and was fitted with leather chinstrap and steel rim. The helmet is fitted with textbook black leather chinstraps fitted with riffets. The sorbos in the liner are in excellent condition. The leather liner shows some nice wear and is clearly makers marked BMB (Briggs Motor Bodies Ltd) and is clearly 1943 dated. The helmet compromises a size 7 3/8.
The helmet is mounted with an orignal helmet with under which jute canvas camouflage is applied. An absolute stunning helmet and increasingly hard to find these days. Nice used with a great patina and would be very hard to upgrade!
