First Aid Kit Bag For Aircraft and Gliders Signed By Staff Sergeant Wallwork First Glider To Land At Pegasus Bridge - Nice Used Condition

A nice used example of First Aid Kit for aircraft and Gliders (also used for Bomber Crew). Cleary Air Ministry marked and makers marked G&S Ltd and 1943 dated. This First Aid Kit was gifted and signed by Staff Sergeant Jim Wallwork and recently purchased from a long-time collector. Jim Wallwork was one of eight glider pilot crews, including two reserves, who were personally selected to carry out the raid on the Bénouville and Ranville Bridges. And therefore one of the first Glider Pilots to land at Pegasus Bridge. Staff Sergeant Wallwork was awared with the Distinguished Flying Medal (DFM).
A fantastic piece of British Airborne equipment with provenance!
