Royal Air Force Type D (Summer) Flying Helmet - Nice Used Condition

Royal Air Force D-type Tropical i.e. summer flying helmet. The helmet is clearly worn and nice used condition with a great patina. These helmets were mostly issued to Air Force in the Far east and Middle east with the RAF and Coastal Command. And more limited with the USAAF. The helmet is fitted with all its original brown leather straps and Air Ministry marked earphones. There appears no visible size mark yet I would estimate a size 3. Can be upgraded.
