An absolute stunning British (Airborne) Glider Pilot Battle Dress Jacket. A 1937 Pattern Battle Dress sized 10 and makers marked Wm. Blackburn & Co. Ltd. Marked with War Department acceptance stamp "P" for 1941. The blouse has been period modified with a 1940 pattern buckle. The battle dress is mounted with original insignia to a Glider Pilot Staff Sergeant. Compromising a set of embroided Glider Pilot shoulder titles, printed Pegasus formation patches, Staff Sergeant stripes and crown and highly attractive Glider Pilot wing.
