Canadian MkII Brodie Steel Helmet & Chinstrap - Nice Used Condition
A fantastic example of a Canadian MkII Brodie Steel Helmet. Executed in a dark OD green paint used on Canadian helmets, which is somewhat more smooth than the paint used on British-manufactured helmets.
The helmet shell is makers marked G.S.W. (General Steel Wares of Toronto) and 1941 dated. The helmet liner is textbook and Canadian which was only produced by manufacturers in Canada during the war and being marked with the Canadian Broad Arrow on one of the absorbers. The chinstrap is executed in the distinct Canadian shade somewhat more yellow/sand-ish then the British examples. A nice used Canadian MkII Brodie Steel Helmet with a great patina!
