Wehrmacht (Heer) M42 Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M42). The stamped sheet steel construction M42 helmet retains most of its rough textured, field-grey paint. The Heeres decal is still clearly visible and present for a good 85%. The shell is marked with maker and size 'NS62' which indicates production by the 'Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke AG' from Schwerte. Fitted with a M31 liner that is in equal nice used condition and clearly sized 55. The helmet is fitted an original leather chinstrap.
