British 1940 Pattern Battle Dress Blouse To A 21st Army Group R.A.S.C. Sergeant - Named Nice Used Condition
British 1940 Pattern Battle Dress Blouse original mounted to a R.AS.C. (Royal Army Service Corps) Sergeant. The Battle Dress is clearly worn adding to its patina. Original mounted with embroided R.A.S.C. shoulder tittles, printed 21st Army Group Formation patch and sergeant stripes.
The 21st Army Group operated in Northern France, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany from June 1944 until August 1945, when it was renamed the British Army of the Rhine (BAOR).
The Blouse is fitted with original label. Sized 6 and 1943 dated. Makers marked S.L.M. Feathers Ltd and marked with the Broad Arrow. The blouse is marked with War Department acceptance stamp and lettercode "N" indicating 1943 being the year of issue. In the liner the Sergeants name has been written "Hutchison A.A." and an army number as well as "R.A.S.C." A stunning original mounted and named Battle Dress that is one of a kind.
