British and/or U.S. (Airborne) Yellow Recognition Scarf - Arnhem Relic/ Nice Used Condition

Yellow recognition scarf used by both British and American Airborne troops. These scarves were used to make panels and signal to friendly aircraft for instance for re-supply. These type of scarves are known to have been widely used in Operation Market Garden in 1944. The scarf is in clear used condition with a large damage to the fabric. This scarf was recently purchased from a long time collector that obtainted this in the Arnhem area. Unfortunately we do not have any further provenance then this. Yet a hard to find piece that holds a certain patina! Can be upgraded.
