Royal Airforce 1933 Pattern (Battle of Britain) Flying Gauntlets. Refered to as: Gauntlets, Flying, 1933 Pattern. Stores reference 22c/264/270, size 81/2.
The gauntlets are in nice used condition with trace of wear and age yet with a fantastic patina.
Fitted with lightning zip, and being marked a size 8 /12 on both the leather tabs of the zip.
Clearly Air Ministry and reference number and A.I.D. marks. The date appears to be 1939.
