British 1940 Pattern Battle Dress Blouse Scottish Command Mounted - Nice Used Condition

An original mounted British 1940 Pattern Battle Dress Blouse to a REME Staff Sergeant in the Scottish Command. Adding to its interest the blouse is makers marked Manclark & Son Edinburgh Scotland. Dated 1944 and sized 10. The jacket is named on the label "T Duncan" and marked with War Department acceptance mark and lettercode "M".
The blouse is original mounted with Scottish Command formation patches, embroided REME shoulder titles and Staff Sergeant rank. In overall nice used condition with some minor trace of wear and age. The Scottish Command had direct command over the I Corps which consisted of mainly Polish troops that were evacuated to Southern Scotland after the capitulating of France. An interesting and original mounted Battle Dress jacket.
