U.S. M1941 Mounted (Airborne) Canteen Cover & Canteen in nice used condition.
Often refered to as Paratrooper canteen cover as it was favoured by U.S. Paratroopers as it made the canteen attachement more secure.
The canteen cover is makers marked J.W. Johnson and dated 1943 The canteen cup is clearly 1943 dated and makers marked E.A.. Co. The canteen appears 1945 dated and makers marked S.M. Co. Can be upgraded.
