British Side Cap South Staffordshire Regiment Badged & Named - Nice Used Condition

A nice used and highly attractive British side cap or so-called Forage Cap. This cap was the standard issue hat for the British Army until 1943 when it was replaced by the General Service beret.
The cap is fiited with general service buttons and original South Staffordshire Regiment both fitted with the Kings crown. The cap appears to be period taylored with an extra lining for added comfort. There is a label sewn in the interior with soldiers name and initials "N.O. Hill" . The cap is devoid of a visible size markings yet a decent mannequin size.
