U.S. 2nd Model M3 Trench Knife and M8 Scabbard Makers Marked IMPERIAL - Nice Used Condition

In nice used condition and with a great patina; this "Imperial" makers marked U.S. M3 Trench Knife. So-called 2nd model being makers marked on the blade. Clearly marked M3 and IMPERIAL on the blade and on the marked with Ordnance bomb on the pommel. The M8 scabbard clearly makers marked B.M. Co. and is in equal nice used condition as the knife.
These type of knifes were widely used in the ETO and during operations such as D-Day and Normandy in 1944. A nice used 2nd model M3 trench knife.
Can be upgraded.
