U.S. Airborne M1 Rifle Griswold Bag 1944 Dated - Mint Condition

A great example of an U.S. Airborne M1 Rifle Griswold Bag. What I consider in mint condition. These bags were invented especially for U.S. Airborne Troops in order to protect the M1 rifle and the soldier during combat jumps.The Original clip to attach the bag to the Parachute harnass is still present. There are some markings present on the bag such as part i.e. contract number started with the date 44
