Rare U.S. Air Transport & Ferrying Command Badge (WASP) - Nice Used Condition

This a a very rare pair of U.S. Air Transport & Ferrying Command Badges. Also known as ATC and included the famous Woman Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), replaced the Army Air Force Ferrying Command. They delivered newly build aircraft from their factories to training bases or ports of embarkation. From which the aircraft were flown to the various theatres of operation across the world.
This insignia has the ATC logo enameled over sterling silver. The reverse has vertical straight pin (factory flawed) for
attachment to the uniform and is marked: "LEVELLE & CO., PHILA PA., WASHINGTON, D.C. STERLING". Hard find these days.
